This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Incendia Health. All opinions are 100% mine.

Although I have been blessed with near perfect vision for my entire life, my daughter, and two of my grandchildren have not been so lucky in the vision department. While wearing glasses grants them a clearer view of the world around them, they have a hard time being active. They are always breaking their glasses, and being the young souls they are, they seem to misplace them often as well. Complaints are expressed quite often as to the inconvenience of wearing glasses, and I have seriously looked into viable alternatives to this unfortunate circumstance. Not to mention the safety factor… who wants to have a glass object directly in front of such a valuable sense as our vision?

I recently heard about a iLASIK Video Contest, which although the winners have now been chosen, brings about a suitable solution to these issues surrounding their state of being in their active lifestyles and their vision problems. I can truly see the benefits of lasic surgery to correct eye vision, and the convenience of not having to deal with eye glasses and their many downfalls.

You can still check out the winners in the iLASIK Video Contest, which is not only entertaining, yet gives some great examples of how our lives can be vastly improved upon with a simple procedure to correct eye vision. Just imagine a clear view of the world without having to deal with eye glasses on a daily basis.

As I get older, I truly value my luck so far in the vision department, and am grateful for the technological advances which bring us options to this annoying issue. If you, or someone you care about, has a vision problem, I would seriously consider checking out this option to leading a free lifestyle, without the hassle and stress eye glasses present. What a great way to view this virtual world we live in!

This is a very interesting question to me. I am totally into everything green, and environmental issues. Saving the planet, and helping nature stay healthy and green, is one of my top priorities and interests. So when I discovered a site with the same goals and aspirations as my own, I was all over it. Well I do not know exactly all the details from an experts point of view as Green.com is still in Beta, and I am still in exploration mode, yet I can relate what I see and understand thus far.

From all that I have gathered thus far, Green.com is a very friendly place to search and explore without the dangers and nasties which may occur in the general search engines. Apparently their goal is to create an atmoshpere which is generally related to environmental issues and, you got it, keeping the planet green and healthy. They are partnered by some top notch groups such as Defenders of Wildlife, Greenhouse Scholars, The Nature Conservancy, PlayPumps International, Project Explorer, Right To Play USA and Save the Children.

As quoted from the kids who started Green.com…

It all started when six kids met online. We call ourselves the O6, for Original Six. We’re very different, but we soon found out we have a lot in common. We also found out that if we work together, we can make a difference – both on the Internet and in the world.

So we made Green.com.

Green.com is a unique world – many worlds, in fact – where you can hang out with your friends, play games, search the best stuff on the Internet, and help make planet Earth a better place, all with no worries.

Inside Green.com, you can:

FIND THE GOOD STUFF. Chat, explore, and fly around! See great video clips and play games. Try out our search – it’s easy and safe. No spam, no junk, and nothing creepy or disgusting. It’s just what you’re looking for. Our encyclopedia, what we call the “Gno pages,” grows all the time, thanks to our members!

CREATE. It’s your world. Make your own avatar. Decorate your room – make it an underwater cave, a space station or almost anything else you can imagine! Write a Gno page to share stuff that you know and care about. Post notes to friends about causes you care about!

STAY IN TOUCH. Send notes to friends, pick up the notes they post for you, and see the latest news from Green.com and around the world. And, as a member, you get your own Green.com email address! Cool, huh?

Now, this is all sounds really good, but is it safe?

Green.com is a unique online world where kids and their parents can safely gather, learn, and interact with each other. We know the challenges of keeping kids safe online. After all, we’re parents ourselves. Kids want to hang out in the cool places and look for stuff on the web. But you’ve heard the Internet scare stories, and you may think the Internet is just not safe, period. Not us. We believe it can be safe and still provide all the things kids can’t wait to try.

That’s why we created Green.com.

Together, we’re committed to:

SAFETY. Although Green.com is new, the people behind it have helped build some of the best-known brands and websites – from The Muppets to Ask.com, Citysearch, and Match.com. Our parents’ area will give you tools to see who your child’s friends are, monitor chat and email, view search history, and set permission levels.

OPENING MINDS. Our goal is to bring the best Internet material into a safe environment – material that informs and entertains, that provokes thought, discussion, and further inquiry. Some of the industry’s best game developers are helping us create activities that capture imaginations and develop problem-solving skills. And we have the business presence and relationships to forge partnerships that bring Green.com the highest quality content in the world.

ENGAGING OUR COMMUNITY. Green.com is a living, growing social community – one that deals with real issues and concerns. Our members can interact safely with users from all over the world, exchanging points of view, and hanging out together. We hope you will discuss, question, and even help to create the material on Green.com. Everyone can make a difference.

Okay, so I joined up and picked my name… Lady_Green. Now I am browsing around and checking out all the features. Oh cool, I get my own room! Now, first thing I am going to do is personalize my Avatar. Then I am going to create my space to my own personal tastes. If I like what I see and find, then I am going to let my daughter join up and create her own Avatar and space as well. A green place to explore, adventure, and play. How totally cool!

One of my most favourite memories stem from rides through the countryside with my Uncle, and a boyfriend in my distant past, on the back of their motorcycles. Although it has been many years since I played around on a dirt bike myself, I still enjoy a good road ride upon occasion. One of the first things that comes to mind is safety first, so the pleasure may be enhanced with knowing the greatest effort of staying safe has been accomplished, so one may relax and enjoy the ride.

From personal experience, I have had a few close calls where a motorcyclist has escaped my attention due to poor visualization. If a motorcycle and it’s rider tend to blend into their surroundings, and creep into a blind spot, it is so easy to overlook them and create extremely dangerous situations. One truly needs to be aware of the dangers lurking, and prepare ahead of time. Creating visual alerts can help prevent a disasterous situation. Seeking out the best options for motorcycle safety clothing in case of an accident is extremely important as well.

Gearing up properly is vital to the safety of the rider, and checking out the Shoei Modular Helmets</em sounds like a great idea to me. These can be found at Biker Hiway and a little birdie tells me they have a Nolan n102 helmets discount available at this time. Thanks to the new N-Com communication system by Nolan, you’ll always be connected to the world. You can use the N-Com system to communicate on your mobile phone or listen to music on your MP3 player. Moreover, you can talk via intercom with your passenger using either a Bluetooth or cable connection. The N-Com modular communication system satisfies all your needs to talk to your passenger.

N-Com is easy to install: the Nolan N102 N-Com full face flip-up and N42 N-Com jet helmets are already designed for installation. In addition, N-Com is easy to transfer from one Nolan helmet to another. Even if you get a new Nolan helmet, you’ll be able to transfer your N-Com for years of continued use.

It is my honest opinion that when searching for the finest safety gear for this, or any sport or activity, it is best to seek out that which has been created by experienced motorcycle riders, working with the best engineers, to develop, thoroughly test, and sell products that really work better than any other products.

There are many instances where it may be necessary to limit access to certain areas by creating car barriers. Whether it be a place reserved for foot or bike travel only, or a public space in which maintenence traffic is needed. As for the latter, it is highly convenient to have collapsable or perhaps locking barriers in place. Businesses may have good reason to place these barriers strategically to provide security and protection against unwanted vehicle access.

I can think of so many instances in which this form of traffic control, these high quality collapsing, locking, and even telescopic barriers, would be a necessary asset in providing safety. Perhaps you would like to take a good look at Traffic Guard Direct to see if they have the traffic control devices that will serve to fulfill your needs.
